Who we are and what we do…

Richard Rawlings t/a Estate Agency Insight provides marketing, success coaching, consultancy and conference speaking services for estate and letting agents, based at 20 Regent St, Cheltenham. Glos. GL50 1HE, in conjunction with AgentCentric.co.uk. 

We love our clients and want to look after them as well as we possibly can in terms of security, privacy and compliance. So you can take it as read that we will never sell or otherwise abuse any of your data. This Privacy Policy will hopefully reassure you by providing transparent information about when and why we collect information (some of it technically regarded as personal, such as an email addresses), how we use it and keep it secure.

Types of Data we collect…

If you are on our marketing database of potential customers, we only collect information that enables us to contact you, plus any notes that we might have made in respect of your possible interest in our services. This is likely to be name, title, postal address, email address and phone number, plus any personal notes we might make to help us provide you with the most relevant service (and to prevent us from bugging you with irrelevant stuff). You’re most welcome to contact us at any time, via our website, or by email to rrawlings@estateagencyinsight.co.uk to ask to see what information we hold on you. We will of course delete any or all of this immediately on request.

How we collect data…

If you are on our marketing database then this will be because at some stage you have provided us with your details. This may have been at a conference where you might have asked us to provide you with information and we noted your details or you handed us a business card. You may have telephoned or email us, possibly from our website/chatbot, or we might have contacted your office and asked if it would be ok to contact you and one of your colleagues agreed to this and supplied your contact details. Occasionally an “out of office” reply asks that we should contact a colleague in the recipient’s absence. We never buy email lists! Yuk!

Cookies…

We may also collect browser information using cookies. These little techno-biscuits are really helpful as they enable us to recognise that you are a returning guest and help us optimise your user experience. Our website won’t work quite so well if you disable cookies, but you can do so if you wish via your browser settings. You can see our full cookie policy at the bottom of this page.

How we use your data:

We’ll only use the information we hold about you to make sensible and relevant contact from time to time (usually no more frequently than once a week) to keep you informed about aspects of contemporary estate agency that we think may be of interest to you. We will most likely email you but may occasionally post you a letter or phone you. We would usually only phone you to follow up when you have expressed a specific interest. You can unsubscribe at any time and we will always make this easy for you to do in one click during every communication, or by phone or you can email us at rrawlings@estateagencyinsight.co.uk.

We use third party providers to deliver our email communications, Campaign Monitor and BombBomb. We gather statistics around email opening and clicks using industry standard technologies to help us monitor and improve our communications. If you are on our client database because you do, or have done, business with us then we’ll also hold and use your data in order to manage your account and to facilitate our on-going relationship with you.

In order to process your payments, we use a respected third party, Stripe. Stripe are experts in protecting your financial information. We are committed to full compliance when it comes to your data and we are registered as a data controller with the Information Commissioner’s Office, registration number ZA004890.
